U14s finally pick up a win

BHR U16s The under 16’s win without kicking a ball!

An injury / Covid ravaged opposition resulted in intersports calling the game off on Wednesday despite both teams agreeing to rearrange the fixture the league have awarded a BHR 🤷‍♂️ this isn’t how we want to win so will follow this up

Chigwell 2 - 5 BHR U14s

Lift off!

The U14's got a deserved win after a long away trip to Ilford. A tight and edgy first half saw the sides go in 0-0 at the break with Beacon creating the better of the chances.

It was Chigwell who took the lead against the run of play but unlike previous weeks beacon didn't let their heads drop, Josh Hall drawing us level with a screamer of a free kick into the top corner. Webb made it 2-1 direct from a corner, Tooke soon making it 3 with a well taken finish. Chigwell tested nerves briefly scoring their second. Webb settled things back down with a sublime chip over the keeper.

Beacon saved the best until last, Walton breaking forward to release Hall who unselfishly squared to set up his strike partner Tooke to finish into an empty net.

Lovely to see the swagger back, an excellent defensive display and beaming smiles at the end of the game.

A relief for coach Pipe too who had started to feel the pressure!!

Stanway Pegasus 1 – 0 BHR U12s

A frustrating morning for the u12’s who started brightly in the first half of the game but couldn’t seem to find their passing game on a bobbly and uneven playing surface and found themselves 1-0 down at the break.

The second half saw a change of tactic and this proved successful as beacon laid siege to the hosts goal for almost the entire half but just could not find the elusive equalizer thanks to some good goalkeeping/defending by the home side and the poor state of the pitch again playing its part. In the end it was not to be for beacon hill and they can hold their heads high and say it was just one of those days when the ball just won’t go in the net.

Redwing 1 - 0 BHFC U11s

Brilliant performance - the pattern of play we’ve been working is really coming off.

Well done lads!

Broomfield 5 - 1 BHR U9s

The return game in consecutive weeks, and the scoreline didn't give the full story of the game. Our boys battled well against a physical Broomfield but unfortunately although we created plenty of opportunities we didn't take our chances, but Broomfield did. A rocket of a free kick from Bartlett gave BH a consolation goal. BHR U8s

Saturday

BHR U8s 1 vs 1 Galleywood A

BHR U8s 1 vs 2 Braintree Hornets

BHR U8s 3 vs 0 Galleywood B

Excellent football all-round. We had compliments from the other coaches about our passing. Great 'round the keeper' goal from Kiddier.

Sunday

Galleywood Hawks U8 4 - 1 vs BHR U8

Good game all round and we really gave them something to think about. Excellent individual effort from Purdy and number of chances by BHR just couldn't put away
