Reserves into the final!

Old Chelmsfordians 2 - 3 Beacon Hill Reserves

The reserves won away 3-2 against Old Chelmsfordians to reach Divisional Cup Final. After going behind, Hill reacted brilliantly, some great football resulted in Aiden Kent scoring the equalizer before Captain Ash Hill put the Hill ahead from a penalty shortly after halftime. OCs slowly responded and with 4 minutes left scored from a scrappy set-piece. Not to be discouraged, Beacon went straight up the other end, and a keeping mistake allowed Ash Hill to tap in and win the game. Beacon Hill Vets 0 - 1 Burnham Ramblers 2 red cards saw the Vets lose at home. Cup Final date is Wednesday, March 30th, 7:45 at Witham Town. It would be great to see as much support as possible

Beacon Hill U13s 3 - 1 Springfield Red Beacon Hill got the result their weekend efforts deserved. Excellent attitudes in training transpired into a great team performance. From the first whistle, they won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd balls. Goals from Ethan Webb and Oscar Tooke (2). The backline excellently marshaled by Mason Dos Santos had their clean sheet cruelly taken away with the last kick of the game as the home keeper lay felled on the ground.

Ongar 1 - 1 Beacon Hill U10s (AET, Ongar won on penalties) U10s lost their cup match to Ongar. It went to penalties after being 0-0 at full time and 1-1 after extra time. Notley 0 - 0 Beacon Hill U9s U9s we’re unlucky on multiple occasions not to score in a 0-0 draw to Notley.

Galleywood Falcons 5 - 1 Beacon Hill U8s Following the home victory against Galleywoods Falcons last week we traveled to their ground for the return fixture. Despite a good start, a disallowed goal, and some dubious decisions we lost the fixture 5-1. A well-taken goal from Pope and some good positional play from Rovers meant that we can take the game as a lesson, not a loss.
